If you want to survive in H2o, building your home is crucial!
You can see above a quick example showing the construction process.
Green arrows indicate that, when it is installed by the player, the construction element is snapped to another (designated by the direction of the arrow).
Thus, the first platform can be placed anywhere on the water then it will serve as a starting point in building the rest of the house.
It should also be noted that the shape of an element can sometimes change depending on the way it is placed. For example, if a platform is laid in being snapped to the corner of an other, it will take the shape of a triangle, while it would be a square if it was installed from an edge.
In another example, if a wall is built without pillars at its ends, it will be a dwarf wall whereas it should be "an entire" wall with pillars.
You will see that (especially in survivals) death is never far away...
But, once your house builded, you can respawn inside your home by using a cot (or at the headquarter of your clan) instead of anywhere on the map!
A cot can be crafted and then installed in a "safe place" because it can be destroyed by enemies.
Be aware that you can respawn a second time with it only after a cooldown of 6:30 minutes.
Traveling fast in a flooded environment can be a bit hard without a vehicle.
Fortunately, you can quickly craft a very basic boat without scavenging during hours.
The motorized makeshift boat is the first vehicle you can have in H2o and it's the only one that can be created without a shipyard.
But this boat is really weak and slow...
